19 years & beyond...

Assalamualaikum

I feel happy today! Alhamdulillah =) I got the chance to meet some of my wonderful friends...And most of all, I got to meet with Nadia, my 'oldest' friend in this world...

We have been friend since primary One, that is when I was like 7 years old...and up till now (please do the math on your own), we still keep in touch and shared our vision and series of our lives...Hehehe...

Me & Nad

She is such a wonderful friend...who will always willing to listen to my ramblings and annoying comments, will always hear my stories and tell her amusing stories. And I really find that MOST of her stories are amazing! She is funny and adorable. Never fail to make me laugh. Always concern about my current situation and even willing to help me in finding for me a future husband! Great isn't it? Heeee~

May ALLAH grant her happiness in this life and the hereafter. Ameeen...

Ok, besides meeting with her, I went for the solemnization of one of my former schoolmates, Susie...The event was simple and one of the best thing is that: it was held in a MOSQUE! It is one of my dream to do my solemnization in a mosque too! =)

Below are some of the captured moments:

The Shy Bride

The Calm Groom
The Excited Girl

The Great Sister

After that, we went to Swensens for some chillax moment...

Rabiul & DaLiLah

Khudaijah & me

The Burning Waiter
The Fondue *YummY*

So we sat there for like an hour and doing some story-telling and updates. Nadia told us about the incident about the late 'Giant' who passed away in Cairo. It is like a wake up call for me after hearing to such stories.

This life, I have been taking it for granted. Always procrastinating things that are important and pursue things that are not even worth at all...

But now, Alhamdulillah...after that night, I realized that I have to be strong. I will not going to bother about my love life anymore. This may sounds wrong. Ok, let me put it correctly. I will think about it, but not going to emphasize on it anymore. Previously, I put too much concern into it. Always worried, concerned and whatever la. but now, I will try to be strong. and when the right person comes, I will tie the knot. InsyaAllah =)

All these things will go along the way. But right now, I will have to do important things which I have been neglected for the past few years...such as, purifying my heart and soul. I want to reconnected with my Creator. so that when the time come for me to face him, I can face him in a good condition. I do not want to face HIM in a bad condition. because HE had created in a good condition. Therefore, I will have to return to HIM in that way too.

I know that it will not be an easy way. Therefore I am asking duaa (prayers) from you =)

I pray the best for all of you too, my lovely readers! Jazakumullah khair. May Allah bless!

WHATever

Assalammualaikum

Indeed life is full of surprises! That is why I lurve surprises! *winks*

I dont really bother what job i get, who I will end up with...I really really really didnt mind at all. But it doesnt mean that I dont have a goal or vision in life.... It is just that I am not a choosy type. Therefore, as long as the job is related to my interest and passion, I will go for it!

And you know what....

This morning, I RECEIVED a phonecall for an intervieW!!!!!

Alhamdulillah~

It is one of my DREAM JOBS. I didnt really expect to get the feedback this fast. I send my resume thru email last friday. And....TADAAAA....a phonecall! weeee~

However, I am a bit scared for this interview. I really really really CAN feel butterflies flying around in my tummy. Huhuhu.

The reason of why I DISLIKES interview:

1. I have to appear FORMAL (hate iT! Im not a formal person, I hate formal events etc)

2. They like to ask SILLY questions - do you notice that I put it SILLY, becoz there is no such things as stupid question.

3. I feel like being INTERROGATEd.

4. I have to appear at my BEST.

5. People will SOMEHOW have some EXPECTATIONS on you - be it many or little.

Well, i know that some of the reasons are irrelevant, but never mind.

Whatever it is, I just hope that I manage to overcome all those reasons. Sometimes, you DO have to face things that you did not want. *sigh*

Pray for me.

Recently, I have been keeping my status as a PART TIME BABYSITTER.

Yeah, you heard me right.

That is what I have been doing for these past few days.

My sister is here in Singapore with her two kiddos. And well, I learnt a LOT. *phew*

I remembered there is this one time, when I was about to enter the bathroom, then her 2nd son (Aziz) said:

"Khalah, baca doa..." (which means: Aunty, recite the supplication..)

And immediately I recited it aloud. The same goes when I came out from the bathroom. (And he actually WAITED for me to come out!!! hahaha)

Then, I found that is is FUN to see kids fight. Why is that so?

Well, I discovered that kids can EASILY get back together again. They WON'T held any grudges against each other. They will fight, then will not talk, and then, within 5-10 minutes after that, you will realize that they will play together again.

Wonderful, rite? *Subhanallah*

If kids could act like that, why can't we as Adults, be better than them? Something to ponder about.

A little confession: I'm kinda of MISSING remembering someone right now.

Yeah. I confessed that it is HARD to let go of that someone. All the memories that I had With that someone are soooo hard to let go. tWo years + seven months. That someone really did left something in my life.

I'm trying my best here. Very Hard.

Ok, enough talking. Wanna sleep.

Assalammualaikum

My Last Iftar

It was Thursday.

Before go to my class, I pass by HS. Then, there he was, sitting by himself with his lappy. At first, I thought I did not want to talk to him, but then, I decided to greet him.

"Hye W..."

"Eh Fadiah...ko nak gi mana?"

"Aku ada class jap lagi..."

"Owh ok..."

"Ko sorang je?"

"A'ah la..."

"K la, nak gi class..."

Later, I received sms from him during class.

W: Ko nampak lain ar skrg. Dah makin lawa.

I: Pe sey. eh, ko lama tak kat HS? Ingat nak lepak ar pas class.

W: Boleh ar. Aku pun dah lama tak lepak dgn ko.

I: K, c u after class.

After class, I went to HS. There he was again. I sat in front of him.

"Fadiah, ko slalu buka katne?"

"Kat bilik ar...nape?"

"Jom la buka kat HS ptg ni. Dah lama tak buka dgn ko..."

"Alahh...malas ar. HEheh...eh, tapi boleh la. Petang nanti confirm kan lagi k..."

"OK..."

He confirmed with me. I also received messages from my adek2, asking me to join them for iftar. And I said YES.

And later that evening, we met up around 645. The moment I reached HS, it was already fully booked by which-ever-society it is...He was not there yet. I reached for my phone, thought of calling texting him...but then, there he was. The moment he arrived, my adek2 also came. His adek was also there. And some of them were surprised to see him with me. Whatever.

Finally, we settled at Basbussa (above HS)and altogether, there were 13 of us. All of them were juniors, except for me & W. hehe.. We talked and talked. W make a lot of jokes, kept me smile all the way.

There is one time which he told me that "Fadiah, aku sengaja ajak ko buka arini supaya bila last day ko iftar kat UIA, ko dgn aku..."

OK...wait. Stop there.

Betul ke apa yang aku dengar? and I just smiled =)

I had a lot of fun that evening. My adek2 was fun. They make me smile, make me laugh. As for W, he was indeed nice. I was like questioning and mula perasan yang bukan2, but then say this to myself: He just want to show his appreciation.

What a Memory!

Money Matters

I had my first Ramadhan's emotional test today...

Went to the Finance early in the morning to collect my financial slip, which I applied last Wednesday....

After received it, I got to know that I had to pay RM7K for the remaining fees!!!

I was surprised...I asked for the clarification, but not too detail. The front desk sister told me that I have not pay the fees for my 1st sem in my second year. Let me repeat it again, in my SECOND YEAR! And now, I have to prove my payment by showing the receipts. And the problem is: I am not the type who will keep receipts!!! Haiz....

Please please pray for me....

Looking for Love

Indeed, Life is full of surprises and unexpected things.

Now, I'm in my room...aLone... All my roomies have their own work and lucky me coz the internet connection is gOOd! weeee~

What did I do today?

Well....I done my FIRST group presentation for this semester. Alhamdulillah...and all went well. I was soooo relieved. And it is the first time in my life that I received praises for my presentation. All was prepared at the last minute though. And lucky us, because the lecturer is a nice guy and the topic is easy to understand. We did some interaction with the students by giving them some task - which is a role play - and it was done pretty well =) I was surprised with the cooperation that was given.

After class, I went back to do some laundry. Then received sms from Nuya, asked me to accompany her to OTK. To fulfill my boredom, I decided to accompany her. She bought the sticker 'P' for the license. Then we went to KFC to fill in our empty stomach. While eating, suddenly Nuya said "Eh, tu your kakak kan?" I looked and said "Yup...Jom jumpa dia..."
Luckily we had finished our meal. We went to meet with my sister, who with her second son. About a minute later, her husband and her first son came. We were like talking and exchanging stories. It was lucky and grateful to get the chance to meet her. This is because, ever since she worked, it was very hard to get her. I know that I could give her a call, but sometimes I'd rather sms her instead. I did not want to disturb her. really.

Then we went back. And in the bus, I sat beside a lady who talked with herself. It was scary, man! I recited all the prayers inside my heart and prayed for her to go down as soon as possible. While I was saying prayers in my heart, suddenly she touched me and asked "Beli apa tu?" I smiled ( + control my fear) and answered " Roti je..." It was like........reeeeally scary...huhu
For like a couple of hours like that, she asked me. What was she thinking before that? Hmmmm...

We reached the hostel around 7pm. Then decided to go to Jannah's room, to surprise her. When we arrived, she was not in her room. We used the opportunity to hide and the moment she came into her room, she was soooooo surprised to see us! Hehehe....

Ok...that's all for what happened for today. and right now, I got new mission in life: To Look for my other half. hehe...

And this time, it is FOR REAL. No more bluffing. No more jokes. No more beating around the bush.

Oh yeah, I just remembered. Last wednesday, I had a wonderful time with W.

The moment I met him, he said: "Fadiah, hari ni aku optimistic. Aku rasa aku akan jumpa jodoh aku hari ni." HAHAHA...I was amazed with his jokes. (I just had this feeling that it was a joke, although he do sounds serious). I had to use my lappy that time, so I find a table which has the plug connection near it.

Then he said "AKu rasa jodoh aku akan duduk kat tempat tu..." and he pointed an empty seat, in front of him, but on the table in front of us.

I smiled and said "Ok...kalau gitu, kita main game nak? Kalau budak yang duduk kat tempat tu, ko kenal, ko kena rapat dengan dia...Tapi kalau ko tak kenal, ko kena minta no h/p dia....ok?"

He replied "Ok...." with hesitation though. Hahaha. Then we wait and wait. Suddenly, there is this girl, wearing blouse and trousers, with haversack and glasses, came. She stood beside the empty chair, talking to her friend.

We waited and expected her to sit there. "Kalau dia duduk, habis la W..." I said that in my heart. Hehehe.... And lucky him coz she did not sit there.

About several minutes later, came a girl, wearing pink baju kurung and black scarf. She took her bag, which sat on the empty seat, then she sat down. I and W looked at one another. and immediately I said to him: "Ok W....you gotta ask her phone number..."

W looked at me and said "Alah fadiah....Tak nak la.... Dia mesti dah ade boyfriend nye..."

I was like "WTF ar ko ni! Mana boleh sey....tadi kan dah janji...Lagipun ko yang kata jodoh ko duduk pat situ..."

He replied "Hehehe...ok lah. Kalau gitu, dia jadi JTJ aku..."

I asked (looking confusing) "JTJ?"

He said "Jodoh Tak JAdi....!" and he laughed...I also laughed and we laughed so hard till tears came out from my eyes!

There were also a part where I found out that he got feelings for me. Hehehe. It goes like this:

He asked me to check his email for him. He gave his password, which is the name of the girl who he had relationship once. Then he told me that he will always use their name as his password. He said to himself "Nama ko ada tak eh?" while thinking....

I overheard him and immediately asked him "Ko penah suka aku ke?"

He blushed and tried to cover himself "Mana ada sey..." He changed the topic to something else.
He treated me during lunch time. We shared stories, jokes, opinions etc. It was like the best day ever with him. What a day! Thank you, W ;)

Choices again....

A friend came to me with a situation and asked for my opinion....

Here is the situation:

A guy who is in a relationship with a girl, let us named her G...then he befriended with another girl named H. Time passed and he got closer to H, although he was in a serious relationship with G. He and H shared a lot of stuffs + secrets. They have mutual understanding and good chemistry between them. Suddenly, without his awareness, the feeling blossomed into love.

When he realized of his own feeling, he got confused. He does not know whether to continue with his relationship with G, or getting into relationship with H. And another thing which makes his confused that H was no longer a virgin. She slept with 4-5 men before. On the other hand, G is a virgin.

And my opinion was:

The guy have to know that whatever he decide to choose will affect his life. People who got tto choose between good and bad, usually will go for the good one. But there are also who go for the bad one. because people are indeed different. Therefore, whatever choices he make, he must be ready to face the consequences. Think wisely and do not follow his heart because heart and feelings indeed can change.

I pray the best for him.

C. H. O. I. C. E. S.

To live hell or live well ----> You choose.

In life, most of the things that appeared to us involved choices. And in making choices, it is important for us to choose wisely.

I have made some wrong choices, therefore I decided from this very moment, I'm going to try make some good and wise choices. InsyaAllah....

Last few days, I have been busy teaching Qur'anic recitation with my aunty...She was amazing, MasyaAllah... At first, I thought that her Qur'anic recitation skill is weak...but then, I discovered that her reading was quite good...only her pronunciation and speed need to be improved.

Besides teaching. I also got the opportunity to meet with my old2 frens. They are still doing well and standing strong. MasyaAllah....unlike me, who always faced with doubts and confusion. The chance to meet with them is such a blessing for me. If I did not meet them, I would not realize something....and now, thanks to Allah for all His blessings and wills.

I realized that I have lost something that is so valuable to me ----> the blessings of Allah and fear towards Him.

I do not want to sound like a pious person, however this is the fact that I faced. No one, but me.

I was too busy in finding the perfect man for me, thus I forgot to seek help from Him. HE always there for me. Waiting for me to find Him. However, I am too arrogant and proud of myself. I forgot everything about Him, whereas He never ever forget me.

And whenever I got to know with someone, I forgot to thank Him. I based all the results on my actions and effort....and indeed, when the effort is empty, so will the result be.

From now on, I will try my best to be a good muslimah. InsyaAllah.

I do not want to get something which I want, but I want things that I NEED. Allah knows what best for me. So I will rest my future in His hand. but this does not mean that I gave up on trying. NO. I will try, strive, struggle and grab for the best. I wanted to GIVE more and more. Because that is what life is all about.

and one of the important choices which I made today: not to get involved with Guys anymore. Friends = yes. More than friends = NO.

You may find me boring. Sued me. but I am not gonna move as that is my decision. If there is someone out there for me, he will appear one day. I believed that. InsyaAllah.

One more thing, I have to build a wall between me and W. It is for my own good. So the construction will begin next semester. Hopefully.

Ok la...I gotta go to bed coz I have to get up at 230. Going to the airport, to send off my cousin.

and...yeah. A recent news stated today that the king of POP, Michael Jackson, have his eternal sleep forever, or in another word, he died..hehe

Well, seems like people keep going to meet with the Lord...and I am still waiting for my time.

May Allah bless YOu!

A Secret Lesson

When we meet someone new, there will always be something that we could learn from them.

And yes, I did learnt a loooooooT from every guy that I know...and the thing that I learnt is that LESSONS ABOUT GUYS.

And this lesson are not being teach in any schools...but it is being learnt in life...

Things that I grabbed from some of my guyfrens are as listed:

W: Do not trust guy easily - It is hard for guys to express what they really feel - MOST guys like girls based on their looks (not all, but mostly) - They are unpredictable - their EGO is their bestfriend *winks* - Girls will go for guys who got cash and career (REaLLy?)

M: When the man is not honest with you, just forget him - They will always try to win your heart but never know how to treasure it

Based on what I had learnt, I managed to get alot from W rather than M....Mayb because W is my wingman, while M is just someone who I fell with once upon a time ago... And I admit that I am much more close to W than M....and I think that is why M decided to let me go after I shared some stories about W....hmmm...well that is a mistake which I really learnt!

Game Over

Hola peeps...

Have been a while since i updated my blog....well, just finished my exam for this semester. Hip hip hooray!

But still can't decide what to do next...

Hmmm...let me see, i think i want to finish all the muvees that have been occupying my lappy for months!

I cannot go back home coz I have some things to settle and I am too lazy to pack my belongings and throw them in the storeroom! Waaaah...for every semester, we have to do that over and over again...why can't they just invent a system which does not required us to move around or up and down...huhu

Ok, back to my life....

Right now, there is nothing new. Last week, one of my kakak sdare get married. It was a tiring week. After sooooo long of no weddings to help, then that week is most tiring ever!

The solemnization was on Saturday so the preparation began on Friday. I helped out for the bride's room, then do some flower arragements, help to bring things up and down the house. The house located at the 10th storey, while the makan2 place is at the void deck of the opposite block. So you could imagine of how tiring it was...but I was so happy so I forgot that it was quite troublesome and the tiredness I felt after the event! huhuhu...

During the event, I met a looooot of my relatives. It was fun, really. And there is one significant question that kept asking me again and again...

"Dyah bila lagi?"

well... that is for me to find and for you to guess...

Adios peeps ;)

Something + sometimes + someone =)

Hola Peeps...

In life, there will always be something which beyond our expectation happened...

Just now, i had a short chat with one of my guy friends...i've mentioned him before in some of my previous posts...and frankly speaking, I am quite closed with 3 guys right now...and all of them still are full of questions and answers....

Ok, so back to the chatting thing...I saw him online on YM so I greet him...here are a bit of our conversation:

me: salam awak!

him: salam.

me: apa kabar? awak tengah keja ke?

him: khabar baik. haah.

me: sori ganggu.

him: tidak mengapa. bila exam?

me: 17 june. cepat kan? awak tak cuti ke?

him: Saya dapat keja kat penang. Mayb pertengahan bulan ni kena lapor diri.

me: Alhamdulillah. bagus la. dekat dgn family awak. keja apa tu?

him: production executive. tu lar dekat dgn family. tapi lagi jauh dgn awk. huhu

me: eleh...takpe la jauh di mata. hehe... awak, keja tu buat pe?

him: ok awak...saya ada keja nak wat.

he signed out. I was like....WTH. he is a guy which is full of questions and it is really hard to figure it out. what does is mean when he says "...lagi jauh dgn awak..."? It was like there is something that have to do with the distance which apart us...

I did not care to consider about him until he said like dis. hmmm....

And about the other guy, things are quite neutral a bit. Alhamdulillah....he contacted me back only that we want to give some times to ourselves. We have clear things out. I hope that Allah will show me the way to my one and only guy...I'm sick and tired with all these questions and game...
Hmmm....

Air oh Air...

Salam peeps...

3 important things in life: Oxygen, Water and Eletric.

Without these three things, we cant survive in this world.

And recently...IIUM is insufficient of water. And I went back. But after that, I was informed that there are still water and the Library was not close!!!! Ciiiit Pooooodah!!!!

And here I am, in my house...sitting in front of the laptop, update my blog....

Well, as my friend had always said, there is always benefit in everything that happened....

and yes, I BELIEVED it....

And I'm happy because I get to see my parent...Rindu sey dgn diorg...update2 stories...discussing about issues....

Oh ya...before I forget, there is an interesting (and some would say silly) story that I want to share with you...

Ok...it happened last week....Monday, after 5 pm...

I met iLya (psych buddy) during my way back from classes....

She: Eh Fad...ko tak masuk class eh?
Me: Class apa?
She: CCP la....
Me: Masuk laaa....
She: Ye Ke? Abeh tu aku tengok banyak kali ko tak sign attendance....

I was like, "EH....bila masa la sey...." in my heart...

Me: Sign la...kan class dia besok...
She: Oiii...class dia tadi la....
Me: Eh...besok la...dgn Prof Wan...
She: Tadi....nama ko ada dalam attendance list...dgn zaki...
Me: Ko biar betol....?
She: Betol ar....tak caya ko gi check confirmation slip...
Me: Alaaah...aku malas la nak print...
She: Gi print ar...malas lagi...
Me: Yelaaaaa.....

And after I checked it online (never ever print it), I realized that I have been attending the wrong class...LoL...

The next class, I apologized with my lecturer and I was glad that he was fine with it....Thanks Allah!
